In this house used to be at least 6 apartments. A portret studio was on the
ground floor once and in the beginning there was a
cowshed there as well.Over the years the house became shabby and when I moved to Sauðárkrókur in 1996 the house was empty,practicly ruins and was used by the fire squad to practice.
Some years later Ingólfur Guðmundsson and Björg Ágústsdóttir bought the house and began to rebuild it.
In february 2007 we bought the guesthouse from them and have been running it ever since.
In the guesthouse there are 14 rooms. Two of them do have a private bathroom but the other 10 do have shared bathrooms. On the first floor is a big kitchen available for our guests. Breakfast is served there. In summer time breakfast is manditory but in winter available. A tv is in all rooms as well as in the lounge. There is a wireless internet in the guesthouse, no extra charge.
Our goal is to make our guests feel like at home when they stay here, go content and long to come back.

high-school dormitory. There we do have 65 double rooms with private bathroom and sleeping bag accommodation
